Motherhood is a journey like no other—especially when raising a child with autism. The meltdowns, the school battles, the never-ending stress—it can feel isolating and exhausting. I know because I’ve been there.

Simplifying the process so you can advocate with confidence
I’ve tried tons of stuff over the years, and these are my absolute faves that I know you’ll love
My son was diagnosed at 3 years old after having some uncontrollable behavior issues in preschool.
Many years of trials with routine, therapy and support to bring us to where we are today – with a teenager who is able to recognize when he is being triggered and be able to refocus and reset and not let himself get out of control.
My daughter was diagnosed at the end of 5th grade. She had struggled in elementary school and we knew going into Jr High would be hard so we wanted to be able to get an IEP or 504 plan in place if needed.
She does not have the outbursts or as severe social deficit, but she is super sensitive to sound and light and has a hard time processing when there’s more than 2 pieces of instruction.
As a mom with two of my three children on the Autism spectrum and both needing academic accommodations, I put this guide together to help shorten your learning curve and help things feel a little easier to navigate.
